On Monday in our school assembly Miss Cole announced that we will be having an Extreme Reading Challenge!

The challenge is to take a picture of your child reading somewhere extreme and send it in to school by Tuesday 19th April .Whether it is up a tree, on top of a mountain or stood on their head, we want your photos! Think about different, exciting, fun – and above all SAFE – places you can enjoy a book.

We are doing this as part of our whole school encouragement of reading for pleasure. Teachers will take part and parents are welcome to do so too!

A display will  be made from the photos in the new Learning Resource Centre and Dining Hall. To help us with the display please bring in a 5’ x 7’ size photo. We are really looking forward to seeing who in school has such a passion for reading that they have to do it anywhere and everywhere!
