We are looking forward to welcoming children to our Snowdrop Class in September 2026.
Stay and Play
Informal play sessions on our infant playground for children joining EYFS in September 2026. It is an opportunity for children and families to meet. Siblings are welcome. Parents remain responsible for their child(ren) at all times. No need to book.

Home Visits
As well as getting to know the children through conversations with their pre-school/nursery setting/childminder, we would also like to carry out a home visit to meet you and your child. Home visits are a special way to get to know all of our new children and families, building a strong relationship between yourself, and members of the Reception team. It is also an ideal time to share any questions or concerns that you may have. Two adults from the Reception team will attend the visit and they will last for around 15 minutes.
We will write to you in June and ask you to complete a simple form with preferred dates and times.
Times: Morning visits 9:30am-11:30am and afternoon visits 1:15pm-4:00pm

New Parents Meeting - 30th June

An evening session for parents only and an opportunity to collect your child’s induction pack and hear from the team.
Please do not worry if you are unable to attend as your pack will be posted to you. If you are planning on attending then please bring your child's birth certificate with you. Thank you.
Children's Induction Visit - 9th July
Thursday, 9th July 2026 - 9:15am - 11:15am
This will be a short visit to support your child's transition to school. Please wait on the infant playground. Parents do not stay for this visit. Children do not need to be in school uniform but they can do so if they wish!
If your child has any emergency medication e.g. asthma inhaler or EPIPEN/JEXT PEN then please give to an adult on arrival. It should be in a named container with your child's name and photograph and have clear instructions.
Please note that the Batchwood Drive entrance is locked during the school day.
September Start......
We welcome our new EYFS children to school on either Wednesday, 2nd September OR Thursday, 3rd September. The date of your child's visit can be found in their induction pack. Please contact the school office team if you have any questions.
Wednesday, 2nd September - 9am - 11:30am - Induction Group A
Thursday, 3rd September - 9am - 11:30am - Induction Group B
Friday, 4th September - 8:40am - 1:15pm - ALL children in school and go home after lunch.
Monday, 7th September - 8:40am - 3:15pm - ALL children in full time from this date.
